This Corn Pulao is a flavored rice prepared with corn nibblets. This midly spices rice can be prepared quickly and is comforting to the tummy.
Ingredients:
Rice -2 cups
Corn Niblets – 1 cup
Onions – 3, peeled and chopped
Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 2 tsps
Chilli Flakes – 2 tsps
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp, chopped
Oil – 3 tbsps
Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds and fry for a minute.
- Add chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste and saute until onion turns translucent.
- Add corn niblets, garam masala and saute till it gets cooked.
- Now add rice and fry for for 5mins on medium flame.
- Add chilli flakes and salt and mix well.
- Pressure cook rice for 7-10mins on reduced flame.
- Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
