Palak Soup is healthy and delicious soup prepared using palak leaves. This soup is light on the tummy and full of flavor to your taste bud.
Ingredients:
Palak – 1 1/2 cups, chopped
Onion – 1 large sized, chopped
Garlic Flakes – 6
Black Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Milk – 1 cup
Butter – 1 tbsp
Cornflour – 1 tbsp
Oil – 2 tsps
Sugar – 1/4 tsp
Water – 3 cups
Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a frying and saute onion and garlic till onion turns translucent in color.
- Add palak and saute till palak is cooked.
- Once cooled, blend it into a smooth paste.
- In a vessel, blended palak, add water,salt, sugar,black pepper powder and bring it to boil.
- Mix cornflour and mix well and add it to the soup.
- Let it boil in medium flame.
- Add butter and turn off the heat.
- Serve hot topped with fresh cream.
