Paneer Bhurji is an easy and quick side dish prepared from grated paneer, onion, green peas, tomato and spices. This dish goes well with roti, chapati or phulka. It can also be used to make sandwiches or as stuffing in parathas, buns or veg puffs.

Ingredients:
Paneer – 2 cups, shredded
Green Peas – 1/2 cup
Onion – 1 large sized, chopped
Tomato – 2 large sized, chopped
Kasuri Methi – 1/2 cup
Cumin Seeds – 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Coriander Powder – 1 teaspoon
Cumin Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam Masala – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Oil – 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds. When it turns slightly brown, add onion and ginger garlic paste. Saute till onion turns golden brown in color.
- Add tomatoes and saute till it gets smashed.
- Now add cooked green peas, kasuri methi and saute for a minute.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and mix well.
- Now add shredded paneer and saute for 2-3mins. Serve hot.
