Raw Banana and Sago Bajji is a deep fried fritter made from raw bananas and sabudana. This tastes good with tomato sauce and green chutney.
Ingredients:
Raw Bananas – 2
Sabudana (Sago) – 1/2 cup
Potato – 1
Milk – 1/4 cup
Cashewnuts, chopped -1/4 cup
Bread Slice – 1
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Dry Mango (Amchur) Powder – 1/2 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Green Chillies, chopped -3
Coriander Leaves, chopped – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Method:
- Soak sago in water for 30minutes.
- Pressure cook potato and banana. Peel off the skin and smash thoroughly.
- Dip the bread slice in milk and squeeze out excess milk from it.
- Strain out water from sago.
- Mix well all the ingredients except oil.
- Take small portions of this mixture and turn them into small roundels.
- Deep fry them in oil.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce and coriander leaves chutney.
