This Peanut Chutney is prepared by grinding roasted peanuts with green chilis, coriander leaves and tamarind. This chutney pairs well with idlis and dosas.
Ingredients:
Peanuts – 1 cup
Green Chillies – 5
Corainder Leaves, chopped – 1/2 cup
Tamarind Extract – 2 tsps
Asafoetida – a pinch
Salt to taste
Method:
- Dry roast peanuts.
- Once cooled, remove the skin of peanuts.
- Blend together roasted peanuts, green chillies, coriander leaves, tamarind extract, asafoetida and salt using little water.
- Serve.
