Khara Dosa is a no-ferment spicy dosa prepared from rice, coconut, dry red chili, onion and coriander seeds. This delicious dosa tastes great with coconut chutney and jaggery syrup.
Ingredients:Rice – 2 cups (soaked in water for 1-2 hours)
Onion – 1 small, chopped
Dry Red Chillies – 8 (adjust according to taste)
Coriander Seeds – 1 tbsp
Coconut – 1 cup, grated
Salt to taste.

Method:
- Grind all the ingredients together to form a smooth batter. This batter should be more watery than the normal dosa batter. Do not let the batter ferment.
- Spread a laddle of batter on a preheated griddle and prepare dosa.
- Serve hot with chutney.
Hey Ashwin i do prepare this but i add cabbage grated or methi leaves(Fenugreek) which are cut in small pieces to the batter

do you soak the rice before grinding? if yes, for how long?
@Unknown: yes, soak soak rice for 1-2 hours
