This Garlic Coconut Chutney is prepared by blending together fresh coconut, garlic cloves, red dry chilis and tamarind. This chutney goes well with idli, dosa, especially Rava Dosa.
Ingredients:
Garlic Flakes – 4
Coconut, grated – 1 cup
Tamarind Extract – 3/4 tsp
Dry Red Chillies – 7
Salt to taste
Method:
- Grind all the ingredients together with little water.
- (Optional) You can season it with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Serve.
